Sambal belacan(shrimp paste sambal)
Ingredients 5-10 fresh red/dried red chillies small piece of shrimp paste (raw/roasted) small onion (1 pip garlic if you wish) salt sugar if you wish tamarind/lime juice Method Soak the dried chillies in warm water or Slice fresh red chillies. Slice the onions and the garlic Combine all three ingredients and pound together. Add in the belacan, sugar and tamarind juice then blend well Mix in the salt. Serve with noodles or rice.
