Coriander ChutneyIngredients 1 bunch of fresh coriander leaves 1 onion 2-3 fresh red/green chillies (more if you wish) 2-3 pips garlic 3/4 inch fresh root ginger 2-3 red tomatoes 1-2 tbsp tamarind juice pinch of salt
Method Chop the fresh coriander leaves about 1 inch lengths Peel the skin and slice the onion Slice the fresh chillies (remove the seeds if you want the chutney mild) Remove the skin from the garlic and slice Remove the skin from the fresh root ginger and slice Cut the tomatoes into fours or eights Put all the above into a blender Pour in the tamarind juice Add in the salt Blend well Chill and serve as a side dish or a dip
